NZ led. Regionally focused. Designed for scale.
South Pacific Energy Resources Limited is a New Zealand-based advanced resource recovery company developing scalable infrastructure to transform difficult waste streams into valuable industrial energy products and circular carbon feedstocks.
We’re focused on building long-term, commercially viable facilities that serve councils, industry, and regional communities across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific.
- OUR MISSION
"To develop and operate advanced plastic waste pyrolysis and circular carbon infrastructure that reduces landfill dependency, recovers value from difficult waste streams, and supports the long-term transition toward a circular, lower-carbon economy in New Zealand and across the Pacific."
- WHY THIS MATTERS
The South Pacific region faces growing pressure from difficult plastic waste streams, increasing landfill costs, tightening export regulations, and rising demand for low-carbon industrial energy alternatives.
Existing waste management infrastructure was not designed to address this challenge. New infrastructure is required — infrastructure that can handle mixed and contaminated plastic waste, produce commercially viable products, meet modern environmental standards, and operate reliably at industrial scale.
Core Values
Our core values not only define us as a company but also reflect the essence of each individual within our organisation.
Every facility is designed to operate to Western-standard emissions requirements, with independent technical review and full transparency on environmental performance.
We develop projects that are financeable, consentable, and commercially viable — not aspirational concepts. The staged development model is designed to reduce risk at every phase.
Our platform is built specifically for the New Zealand, Australian, and Pacific context — with local engineering integration, regional supply chains, and long-term community outcomes at the core.
Executive Team
A team with deep experience in infrastructure delivery, urban planning, law, investment, and community engagement across New Zealand and Australia.
